Mason grew up in the Athens area and founded Athens Asphalt Paving after years of hands-on construction and paving experience. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing the local lakes and spends weekends working on an older pickup he has kept since his twenties.
Caleb has worked around asphalt, grading and site preparation for several years and focuses on keeping field work organized and consistent. He is from the Tyler area and is known around the crew for his early-morning coffee routine and his interest in restoring old tools.
Dustin coordinates equipment, preparation work and day-to-day project details. A longtime East Texas resident, he spends his free time hunting, following local high school sports and helping his family with their property outside Athens.
We start by listening to what the customer wants to accomplish and learning how the property is used. From there, we look at the existing pavement or ground conditions, access, drainage, grade and the other factors that can affect the work. We explain the project in plain language and keep the scope focused on the actual needs of the property.
Once the work is agreed, we coordinate preparation and paving with attention to the project conditions. Customers should know what is happening and why, so communication stays part of the process from the first conversation through completion.
